LSC-Tomball fall 2013 class registration underway

Classes are filling fast, but seats are still available for the Lone Star College-Tomball summer 2013 session.  The summer II session begin July 11 and fall 2013 classes begin August 26.  Taking classes during the summer helps students earn full college credit for a course in just six weeks (versus 16 weeks).

Students are also encouraged to register now for fall to ensure the best schedule.  A full course list is available at http://www.lonestar.edu/registration.htm.

Returning students can register at my.lonestar.edu, and new students can apply on-site or online at lonestar.edu/registration. On-site registration is 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.  For more information, call 281.351.3310.

LSC-Tomball graduates, on average, earn $15,700 more per year ($1,308 more per week) compared to those with a high school diploma.

A LSC-Tomball degree can also reduce the risk of unemployment.  Only 4.3 percent of Americans with four-year degrees are unemployed; 15 percent of those without a high school diploma currently do not have a job.  By 2018, 63 percent of all jobs will require post-secondary education.

Lone Star College-Tomball is located at 30555 Tomball Parkway, at the intersection of State Highway 249 and Zion Road.
