The Lone Star College-North Harris Division of Fine Arts has announced an exciting lineup for the spring semester. Come out and enjoy the many talented artists and performers at LSC-North Harris. All events are open to the community and free, unless noted otherwise.

Student Ceramics Exhibition 
        Students works will be displayed in the Library Gallery from February 9 – March 4.

        Works will be displayed in the Fine Arts Gallery from February 11 – March 4.

Art Lecture Series 
        Michael Bise will present and then will be open to discuss a series of historical and artistic ideas, developed after his heart transplant nearly four years ago. These ideas are touched on in his drawing practice and his writing. This discussion will raise issues around the role of the art student, and their role in their community and ultimately their role and responsibility in history.

        Lovie Oliver will present a discussion on her artist practice of employing fresco (buon and secco) with the addition of digital fresco (monotype) and sgrafitto (scratch) to create paintings, objects, installations and discourse around the issues of gender, sexuality, race, class and power.
