Registration for summer term at Lone Star College-North Harris now in progress

Registration is underway for the Summer II term which begins July 14. The registration process at LSC-North Harris is quick, easy and online, making it convenient for those students who attend other colleges and universities during the fall and spring terms.

“Our summer sessions are a win-win opportunity for both students and their parents,” according to Steve Kolar, vice president of instruction at LSC-North Harris. “Not only are students that much closer to finishing up their degree and graduating, but parents can save several thousands of dollars in tuition because our cost per credit hour is significantly lower than other four-year institutions.”

Summer II classes begin on Thursday, July 14 and end Sunday, August 21.

LSC-North Harris summer courses are designed to fit a diverse spectrum of academic goals and lead to certificates, associate degrees or university transfer. “LSC-North Harris offers many of the core courses that students must take. These classes are excellent way for students to complete up to 12 credit hours in as little as 10 weeks,” Kolar added. Credit classes range from art appreciation, biology, English and physical education to psychology, sociology and a variety of math courses ranging from College Algebra to Calculus I and II.
