Lone Star College Foundation sets StarGala date for 2017

 The Lone Star College Foundation announced that its StarGala 2017 is set for Saturday, April 29 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center.

“Mark your calendars and plan to join us April 29 for an amazing evening benefiting student scholarships and programs at Lone Star College,” said Nicole Robinson Gauthier, executive director, LSC Foundation.

“The impact of last year’s StarGala was life-changing,” said Robinson Gauthier.

StarGala 2016 provided:

·        $33,700 in new scholarships awarded to 67 deserving students.

·        $29,450 in support of various college programs.

·        $88,931 toward the LSC Promise Scholarship.

·        $358,384 additional investment to the endowment.

Sponsorship and underwriting opportunities are available for StarGala 2017 to help support students and programs at Lone Star College, and donors are even able to contribute to StarGala 2017 before the end of this year for 2016 tax considerations.
