Lone Star College-North Harris hosts Super Saturday registration event Sept. 9

There's still time left to register for fall classes! Avoid the wait times by stopping by Lone Star College-North Harris’ Super Saturday registration event! Designed for prospective students and their families, the event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 9, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the college’s Student Services Building, located at 2700 W.W. Thorne Drive in Houston. This event is free and open for the community to attend.

During the event, representatives from the college’s various programs will be available to discuss education options with students and their families. For those interested in applying or registering for classes, additional staff will be available to assist with the application process. On-site services will include: financial aid assistance, admissions information, advising and New Student Orientation sessions.

Bacterial Meningitis vaccinations will also be available for students at the event.

As of January 1, 2012, all students entering college are required to show proof of an initial meningococcal vaccination or a booster dose during the five-year period prior to enrolling. 
The vaccination clinic will serve:

  • Ages 17 and under must have parental consent
  • Ages 18 and under - $20 per person
  • Ages 19+ - $100 per person

With proof of Medicaid or CHIP card, the vaccination is free of charge. Methods of payment include check, credit or cash.
