L.I.F.E. in March Features Castles, Crafts and Podcasts

LIFE WorkshopsDon’t miss the castle builder, mystery crafters and podcast enthusiasts this March at Lone Star College-CyFair.

The free Learning, Inspiration, Friendship and Enrichment (L.I.F.E.) programs are held Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the library (LRNC room 131 unless otherwise noted) at 9191 Barker Cypress.

  • March 6 - Newman’s Castle
    Hear ye! Hear ye! The King of Bellville is coming! Hear straight from Mike Newman what motivated him to build a castle in Texas.
     
  • March 13 – Spring Break: No Workshop
     
  • March 20 - Mystery Craft
    Bet you can’t guess what’s up the sleeves of our resident crafters Nicole Gibson and Leah Stark! Come for the fun and creativity.
     
  • March 27 - Welcome to Podcasts
    Want to listen to the hot new entertainment, news, or educational podcasts everyone’s talking about, but don’t know where to start? Librarians and podcast enthusiasts Lauren Dodd Hall and Jane Stimpson take us through the basics of how to find, download, and listen to podcasts for use on your portable devices. They also will share their podcast recommendations in every genre.
