HOUSTON – As part of holiday season celebrations, Minuti Coffee graciously donated 40 turkeys and hams to Lone Star College-University Park employees. The recipients consisted of full-time and part-time faculty and staff members.
This holiday turkey and ham donation is the most recent example of Minuti Coffee’s generosity. In recent years, the company has given thousands of dollars in gift cards to students and donated to the LSC Foundation to support student scholarships and employees in need. They have also donated refreshments for several key LSC-University Park events involving students and the community, including the American Heart Association’s Northwest Harris County Heart Walk.
“Minuti Coffee and its leadership have true hearts of service for this community and have continuously demonstrated that through their hospitality and kindness to our students, faculty and staff,” said Dr. Shah Ardalan, LSC-University Park president. “Minuti Coffee President Ardavan Motamedi is a true partner, generous giver, and great friend of the college. Our partnership has resulted in improving lives for many of our employees, students and community members.”
Forming mutually beneficial partnerships has been a priority for LSC-University Park. Minuti Coffee is one of the outstanding businesses in the area that LSC-University Park works with to make a positive impact on the community.
To help contribute to LSC-University Park’s mission of student success and access, Minuti Coffee is currently developing an internship program with the college to create an innovative and educational working opportunity for students. The company prioritizes hiring LSC-University Park students at their two locations on campus so students can gain real-world work experience.
