Houston Artist’s New Series of Works Explore Connectivity on Display

"Seen & Unseen" exhibit of works by Ellen RayDon’t miss “Seen and Unseen” featuring visiting artist Ellen Ray’s unique collection of works created specifically for Lone Star College-CyFair’s Bosque Gallery.

With her experienced painting hand, this professional artist explores themes of consciousness and connection through her new works, each of which is displayed in a series.

“I’m interested in how we connect to the natural world and how, through genetics and consciousness, we connect to each other,” said Ray.

Enjoy this exciting exhibition of talent Feb. 27 through April 9. Join the 5 p.m. opening reception to meet this professional artist and hear about her involvement with Sawyer Yards and Visual Arts Alliance at the 5:20 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. artist talks.

Two additional opportunities to learn more about Ray are at the Tea+Art+Talk from 1:30 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 and the A.L.L. Open House+Coffee at 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 31.

The spring exhibition schedule continues with the Student Art Showcase April 23-May 2, which will also include an LSC-CyFair’s design students fashion show. Closing the gallery season will be the work of high school seniors featured in “Bridgeland’s First Class” May 21-June 25.
