Fall 2020 registration opening online for Lone Star College-North Harris

With campuses closed until May 4, systems have been set up to ensure that Fall 2020 registration may take place entirely online beginning Wednesday, April 15.

To follow county and state guidelines, all advising and enrollment operations have transitioned to online processes to accommodate students registering for classes. Lone Star College-North Harris has advisers and Student Success employees available to assist students throughout the enrollment process.

Current and future LSC-North Harris students are encouraged to enroll to take advantage of low cost, high-quality courses designed to fit a wide range of academic goals including associate degrees, certificates, university transfer programs and effective this fall, bachelor’s degrees.

“We’re excited to announce that this fall we will launch a bachelor’s degree program in Energy, Manufacturing and Trades Management,” said Dr. Laura Yannuzzi, vice president of instruction. “This program builds on our existing pathways to career success, where we provide state-of-the-art labs, flexible scheduling, and master trainers in the critical trades necessary for our economy to thrive. We are thrilled to offer even more options for students seeking quality educational opportunities in their community.”

“We have worked diligently to ensure our current and future students have access to our Student Success staff to receive continual assistance through online resources and by telephone,” said Magdalena Mendoza-Starck, interim vice president of student success. “On behalf of the Student Success Division, we want to remind our students and community that we are here and ready to support you.”

LSC-North Harris is continuing to offer the full range of classes including traditional core courses, such as math, biology, English, degree specific courses and workforce training courses. Students who enroll at LSC-North Harris can start their journey close to home before easily transferring to their favorite four-year university with the help of our Career and Successful Transfer Lab resources.
