L.I.F.E. Begins with a Cuppa, DYI Self-care and Historian’s Rucksack Workshops

L.I.F.E. WorkshopsStart the new year with tea talk, homemade spa products and European travel with  Lone Star College-CyFair’s January weekly WebEx workshops.

These free Learning, Inspiration, Friendship and Enrichment (L.I.F.E.) programs are available Wednesdays through virtual presentations and are accessible for one week.

  • January 13: It’s My Cup of Tea
    January is National Tea Month so join us for a hot take on a cup of a classic beverage! Librarian Rachel Hugenberg will discuss how tea came to be and some tea history. Children’s Specialist Leah Stark is going to demonstrate how to brew the perfect cuppa tea. Come join us for a cuppa!
     
  • January 20: Self-care Spa Day
    New Year’s resolutions are often about taking care of yourself and others. Treat yourself to some DIY Spa self-care with expert Circulation Manager Diona West, who is going to teach us how to make our own spa care products!
     
  • January 27: The Historian's Rucksack: Travel and Learning in Modern Europe
    Professor of History Rob Coyle invites you to enjoy a discussion of the creation and experience of a study abroad program in Modern European History.
