These free Learning, Inspiration, Friendship and Enrichment (L.I.F.E.) programs are available Wednesdays through virtual presentations and are accessible for one week.

May 5: Paper of the Past: Historical Scrapbooking
May is National Scrapbooking Month! Join a presentation by Mandy Ross, creator of Paper of the Past, as she shares her personal collection of scrapbooks made between 1840 and 1940. Featured in Frankie Magazine, Reclaim, and the Uppercase Encyclopedia of Inspiration: Ephemera, her collection has inspired thousands of creative book lovers using vintage scrapbooks to give a magical glimpse into past lives.

May 12: Maui no ka ‘oi (Maui is the best)
Join Children's Library Specialist Leah Stark as she shares travel tips and pictures of the beautiful island of Maui (and a bit the other Hawaiian Islands) as a former local resident of the island.

May 19: Relax, Just Do It: Effective Strategies to Decrease Stress and Anxiety
Stress and anxiety seem to be a constant in the modern world. In this session, attendees will learn and practice effective strategies to decrease stress and anxiety. They will also create an action plan so that whenever stress and anxiety creep into their lives, they have strategies to help bring balance to our lives.

May 26: How to Take Better Pics with Your Camera or Phone
Do you wish you could take better pictures with your camera or smartphone? Librarian and former photographer Bronwyn Sutherland will discuss tricks to use to get the most out of your camera. The focus here will be on portraits, but she can discuss whatever kind of photography is of interest!
