The faculty and staff at Lone Star College-Montgomery cannot wait to welcome students back to campus! Whether a returning student or brand-new to the college, each student is invited to kick off the new school year with “Maverick Mania” on August 25 – a day of events where support will be provided from admissions, advising, financial aid, the testing center, the business office, student success programs and more.
There will also be campus activities, games, free food, prizes, and building tours to engage and educate the attendees. The fall semester begins on August 29, so this is a valuable opportunity to learn more about the campus and its resources. Students are encouraged to participate in as many events as possible.

Starting college, or coming back after a long break can be stressful and overwhelming, but the faculty and staff at LSC-Montgomery hope to welcome students back with more information and support than ever. Questions about financial aid or which classes to take? Wondering about student programs and extracurricular offerings? Maverick Mania will provide options, solutions and resources to anyone along any part of their education journey.
As many people are expected to participate in Maverick Mania, completion of the school’s admission steps is suggested, so faculty and staff can better assist each student when it comes to registration and advising. For example, items such as test scores, transcripts, and shot records are highly encouraged to be submitted prior to attendance.
