HOUSTON (April 27, 2022) – Lone Star College offers a variety of fun and educational camps for children during the summer.

The LSC-Kingwood Career Exploration Camp, which morphed from Discovery College, will focus on various topics for area teenagers aged 13-15 years old. They will have a chance to learn about different career fields, hobbies, and academic enrichment opportunities.

“Career Exploration Camp offerings will allow youths to focus on their passion while they increase their interest in learning,” said Pat Chandler, continuing education director at LSC-Kingwood.

Career Exploration Camp at LSC-Kingwood will take place June 6-9 and June 13-16. Some of the courses offered will include Cosmetology, Honors College, Focus 2 Career Assessment, A Touch of Clay, Engineering with Arduinos, Phlebotomy, Learn Canva, Certified Nurse Aide, EKG Monitor Technician, and Clinical Medical Assistant. All programs will take place on campus.
