Program Details
This new program trains students as an electrical line workers. Electrical Line Workers are responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing electrical power systems. This includes installing and repairing power lines, transformers, and other related equipment. Training for this position includes working with high-voltage electricity and a variety of tools and materials.
In this course, students will learn about electrical safety, power line installation and maintenance, and transformer repair. They will also be trained in the use of tools and materials used in the installation and repair of power lines, such as ladders, safety harnesses, and insulated tools. Additionally, students will learn about the regulations, standards, and best practices for working with high-voltage electricity.
By the end of this course, students will be able to safely install and repair power lines, transformers, and other related equipment. They will also have the knowledge and skills necessary to work with high-voltage electricity and the tools and materials used in the electrical line worker profession.
