Please note the following criteria:

1. Student must be taking at least one Montgomery campus art course during the semester applied.

2. There are two submission categories of A) Studio Art or B) Art History & Humanities. 

3. Studio Art applicants must submit only one PDF of 5-10 images of their work under 20 MB total in size to the designated submission e-mail: MC-ArtGallery@lonestar.edu

4. Art History & Humanities applicants must submit only one sample writing as a PDF on an art related topic in MLA style, 2-3 pages double spaced with appropriate headings and a work cited page.

5. Students may submit only one submission per category per semester. (It's possible submit one submission to both categories each semester.)

6. All Student submissions must contain the following or risk being disqualified: A) Full school student name, B) Lone Star College e-mail, C) LSC student ID number, D) At least one current Art or Humanities course with instructor name, E) Follows submission instructions, F) Submitted by the Fall Semester deadline of OCTOBER 30TH, 2026.

7. Winners will be announced during the end of semester Student Show gallery reception.

8. Must be enrolled in at least 6 hours at the Montgomery campus and maintain a 2.0 or better GPA.
