Kevin McDaniel - Manager of Recreational and ESports

Howdy! My name is Kevin McDaniel, and I'm the Recreational Sports and E-sports Manager for Lone Star College-University Park's Office of Student Life. I've been an avid gamer ever since dad brought home an NES and a PC builder with experience on everything from Sockets A and 423 to the latest technology. I played football in grade school and have participated in multiple intermural leagues over the years for softball, racket ball, golf, ultimate frisbee, and volleyball. Looking to get involved in our recreational or esports programs? Let’s talk!

In addition to my basketball career, I have spent three decades working in the energy industry. I also hold an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas. Coach Delana Richardson- Women's Volleyball

My name is Coach Delana! I began my volleyball career at Westfield High School before continuing my journey at Prairie View A&M University. After one year spent as a student-athlete I was redshirted. Shortly following, my passion for coaching flourished. I began with the Recreational Volleyball program at Prairie View, and once I graduated, I decided that I wanted to continue developing all-around athletes. I transitioned into club volleyball, where I have coached for the past three years. Throughout my coaching career, I have committed to developing athletes both on and off the court by emphasizing skill development, teamwork, discipline, and confidence. I have accomplished may awards throughout my volleyball journey, and I am super excited to bring my knowledge and background to LSC-UP!
