The Chemistry Department at Lone Star College-University Park seeks to explore and expand the modern frontier of chemistry. The study of chemistry is critical for solving society's most important problems and making significant positive impacts on human health, energy and the environment.
Courses in the chemistry curriculum include Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry I and II, and Organic Chemistry I and II. Courses are acceptable for both an Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degree as well as support for a number of allied health programs. All courses are suitable for transfer.
Chemistry courses are taught by diverse, highly qualified faculty members.
