Education is a never-ending process. Professional development is particularly important for educators, as it allows them to learn new teaching strategies that will positively affect their students. One way to promote lifelong learning is by celebrating it! This semester, we would like to recognize Neusa McWilliams as one of our top adjunct learners. Neusa is one of The Center's most actively involved participants. She displays an eagerness to learn and grow during each session that she attends. When asked about her involvement in professional development, Neusa says:

"I believe that professional development is extremely important to stay up to date on the new technologies and changes that education is undergoing, some of them accelerated by COVID and the need to keep a quality instruction that incorporates the needs of our diverse students but also promotes an active learning environment relevant to our time and to our student interests."
