LSC-CyFair Teen Programs

INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Receive prizes when sign up and then complete summer reading program requirements. Go to librarians's 1st floor Reference Desk to receive your free prize:

PRIZES FOR SIGNING UP ONLINE WITH HARRIS COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY:

  1. Sign up for Teen Summer Reading Program and receive your free Mini retractable ear buds for CD/DVD/MP3 and/or AM/FM radio.

  1. Complete 5 books or 10 hours of reading and receive your free 256 MB - Swivel USB flash drive.

END OF SUMMER PARTY!   End of Summer Twilight Movie Costume Party. Prizes for best costumes. Come dressed for a bite to eat. Twilight Movie & Vampirish Food, Thursday, August 6, 5:30 - 8pm, room 131.

  • CANCELLED:1 - 2pm, room 215 -  Round Table Discussions: Talk about current events in Houston Chronicle newspaper.
  • CANCELLED: 2 - 3pm, room 215 - Story-time for Teens (Sit & Listen): Sophisticated summer story-time for teens. Come relax and listen to great Young Adult Literature read out loaud by the Teen Librarian. (Counts towards both prizes.)

  • 1 - 4pm, room 131 - Gaming: Wii, board games and more. Some Wii games are rated T for Teen (13+).
  • 4 - 6pm, room 131 - Creative Writing: Free-writing exercises, discussions and more.
