Brittney Lewis

Coordinator III, Equity & Diversity

Brittney LewisMy name is Brittney Lewis, and I was born in Selma, Alabama. I am the middle of three children. My family was eventually stationed in Killeen, Texas, where I spent most of my childhood and teen years.

After graduating from Killeen High School, I attended Sam Houston State University (Eat ‘Em Up Kats!), where I received my bachelor’s degree in Sociology. I also received my Master’s of Science degree at Texas Southern University where I studied Family and Consumer Sciences. I am a momma to a rambunctious 8-year-old boy named Micah.

In a previous life, I served as an educator, where I taught reading intervention to 6th graders. My passion for enriching and serving the community has led me to where I am now.

I am so excited to be joining the Lone Star Kingwood family and look forward getting to know and work with each and every one of you!
