Kameron is a Houston native who spends much of his time in various leadership roles at work, in the community, and in his personal life. Recently, Mr. Whitfield used his leadership platform to empower First Year Experience/ First Generation college students to apply their knowledge and leadership in and outside of the classroom as Learning Community Coordinator for University College at Prairie View A&M University. Currently at Lone Star College-Kingwood, Mr. Whitfield has devoted his time to implementing knowledge of structure and leadership to the student body as Program Coordinator of Student Life.
Kameron is a proud alumnus of the Whitlowe R. Green College of Education at Prairie View A & M University; with a Master of Education Administration, Leadership and Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Specialization in Mathematics.
Alex moved to the area in September 2018 from Traverse City, Michigan. She was very active in her Phi Theta Kappa Chapter, Alpha Rho Pi, at her previous institution. With this, she served as the President of her Chapter and the Secretary/Treasurer of the Michigan Region. This experience led her to the decision to work in Higher Education full time. She also has experience in Residence Life as a Resident Assistant and in Advising as an Administrative Assistant for the Department of Learning Services at her previous institution. Alex began working at LSC-Kingwood in November of 2018, and currently works with all student clubs and organizations on campus.
Alex has an Associate Degree from Northwestern Michigan College in Liberal Arts and Sciences with three certificates in Web Development. She has also received a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Leadership Studies from Central Michigan University in 2020.
Kelly is originally from San Francisco, California and earned her English Literature degree from San Francisco State University. She has been a Kingwood resident since 1999 and joined Lone Star College in May of 2012 as the Events Specialist in the Office of Student Life. “I find the atmosphere here enriching and vibrant. I think Lone Star College is a perfect springboard to opportunities for all students and I am excited to be a part of it.” Kelly’s son and husband occupy most of her free time, but she manages to fit in some fun stuff like shopping, reading, traveling the world and dining out!
Jessica is a Houston native who returned to LSC-Kingwood to complete her second Associate's degree in Visual Communication (2017). Her journey began in 2007, attending dual credit courses at LSC-Kingwood while completing her high school diploma. She joined the Army after high school graduation and returned to LSC-Kingwood to complete her Associate's in Art. For most of the last decade, Jessica has been involved in the student body and worked in multiple departments across campus including the tutoring center and the business office. She enthusiastically offers help to everyone around her and loves to attend concerts!
