FAQs
We ask that you promptly report any water leaks, unusual burning smells, or areas with inconsistent heating or cooling. Water leaks, no matter how small, can cause significant damage over time, including structural issues, mold growth, and damage to equipment or personal property. Similarly, detecting burning smells early can help prevent potential fire hazards and ensure the safety of everyone on campus. Areas that are unusually hot or cold can indicate HVAC malfunctions that affect comfort and productivity, and addressing these issues promptly helps maintain an optimal learning and working environment. To report any of these issues, please contact 281-290-2929 or submit a service ticket online at isd.lonestar.edu.
Instead of using a space heater, please allow the Property Services team to adjust the temperature in your area to create a more comfortable environment. This approach helps maintain campus safety, prevents potential fire hazards, and ensures that the building's HVAC system operates efficiently for everyone. If you find that your space is too cold, please submit an iService TMA work order request with details about your location and the issue you are experiencing. The Property Services team will review your request and make the necessary adjustments to the temperature to meet your comfort needs.
If you notice a water leak anywhere on campus—no matter how small—it is important to report it immediately. Even minor leaks can lead to larger problems over time, including water damage, mold growth, and potential safety hazards for students and staff. To report a water leak, please submit a request through the iService TMA system at https://isd.lonestar.edu/.
If you encounter an urgent issue outside of normal operating hours, please do not wait until the next business day. Contact the emergency response team using the emergency contact number listed on the iService TMA Work Order system at https://isd.lonestar.edu/. Providing clear and detailed information about the nature of the issue, the exact location, and any immediate risks will help the team respond quickly and effectively.
