Cool Off with Summer Family Fun at LSC-CyFair

Family having summer funLone Star College-CyFair is the place to escape the summer heat and enjoy some family fun!

Tickets are on sale for two theatre productions including “Stuart Little” in June and “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” in August.

Bring the family to share in the many adventures – both big and small – of Stuart Little, a mouse who is born into an ordinary New York family, that will be brought vividly to life in the story-theatre presentation June 4 – June 8.

Come back in August to enjoy “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” another children’s show and a co-production with Houston’s Center Stage that will be performed Aug. 3-Aug. 5 and Aug. 10-Aug. 12.

Also available in the Center for the Arts building this summer will be the opportunity to view the talent of mixed media fiber artist Peggy Sexton with her “Boogle Houses” exhibition on display June 5 through July 5 in the Bosque Gallery. Other summer activities on the LSC-CyFair campus are the popular Discovery College half-day fun and educational sessions for ages 9 to 17 available June 4 through Aug. 2 and the library’s annual Summer Reading Program for children and adults available June 4 through Aug. 11.
