Registration for summer classes at Lone Star College-North Harris begins Mar. 1

Looking for a way to beat the Texas summer heat? Stay cool indoors and earn a quality education at the same time at Lone Star College-North Harris! Registration for the May mini-mester and Summer I and II sessions begins Wednesday, Mar. 1.

Mini-mesters offer an additional option for those looking to get ahead with their degree or certificate. Three-week mini-mester courses are available from May 15 through June 4.

Summer classes are also a great opportunity for university students to save time and money with core classes available at a fraction of the cost. The first summer session begins June 5 and runs through July 11; Summer II will take place July 13 through August 20.

Many classes are in high-demand and fill quickly, so early registration ensures the best selection of classes and times. Advisors are available to assist new students with the registration process.

Current and recently enrolled students can register online at LoneStar.edu/registration or at any Lone Star College location. New students can apply for admission online, or in-person. LSC-North Harris courses are designed to fit a diverse spectrum of academic goals, and can lead to certificates, associate degrees or university transfer. Credit classes range from art, biology, and automotive technology to cosmetology, nursing and criminal justice. Classes are offered days, evenings or weekends at LSC-North Harris, LSC-Greenspoint Center and LSC-Victory Center, as well as in online and hybrid formats.
