Lone Star College-North Harris fine arts presents “Miss Julie”

Lone Star College-North Harris Division of Fine Arts will present a limited engagement of “Miss Julie,” by August Strindberg. Performances are scheduled for Apr. 20 through 22.

Over the course of one midsummer night, Miss Julie explores the brutal, charged power struggle between a young aristocratic woman and her father’s valet. In an atmosphere of wild revelry and loosened social constraints, Julie and John dance and drink, charm and manipulate each other. This play depicts a fierce battle between a man and a woman, a struggle for power and dominance enacted through a cruel and compulsive game of seduction and repulsion.

Nightly performances will take place Thursday, Apr. 20 through Saturday, Apr. 22 at 7:30 p.m. This play is intended for mature audiences only.

Tickets are $10. Due to the limited seating for this production, reservations are highly recommended. The performances will take place in the LSC-North Harris Performing Arts Theater located in the Fine Arts Building at 2700 W.W. Thorne Drive, Houston, Texas.
