L.I.F.E. WorkshopsGet the best book list and wildlife gardening tips as well as a taste of life in Japan at this month’s weekly Lone Star College-CyFair L.I.F.E. workshops.

 These free Learning, Inspiration, Friendship and Enrichment (L.I.F.E.) programs are available Wednesdays through virtual presentations and accessible for one week.

  • June 3: Blue Willow Book Shop
    Bibliophile and owner, Valerie Koehler, is back to give us her top reads for the adult Summer Reading Program!
  • June 10:  Wildscaping: Garden for Wildlife
    Yards can be both beautiful and beneficial by incorporating the native plants that support our local wildlife! Come join Lauren Simpson, Houston gardener, videographer and photographer, to learn why and how to transform your own yard into a beautiful, wildlife paradise!
  • June 17: Konnichiwa! An American's Experience Living and Teaching in Japan
    Bronwyn Sutherland spent years working in Japan and elsewhere and she shares how to broaden your life by living and working in exotic places.
  • June 24: Reading Royally
    Fascinated by kings, queens and courtly life? Jane, the Librarian, Stimpson shares her favorite titles and authors writing about all things royal in both fiction and nonfiction. Come away from the presentation with a reading list fit for a queen or king!
