Spring 2021 Virtual Open HouseLone Star College-CyFair helps launch successful careers with a 4 p.m. virtual April 15 open house providing information about a high quality, affordable education, a robust student life and registration for May mini-mester, summer and fall classes.

LSC-CyFair prepares well-rounded graduates to take on the world, not only with lifelong knowledge to transfer and earn bachelor’s degrees and top-notch skills to enter the workforce, but with impressive academic and history-making achievements to add to resumes.

For example, there have been four Jack Kent Cooke Transfer Undergraduate ($40,000) Scholarship Finalists; award-winning student engineering NASA challenge design teams with one team’s tool developed for the International Space Station and used on a 2019 spacewalk;  and student club success such as the Criminal Justice Club’s two-time National Criminal Justice Month Education Award, just to name a few.

Choose among a variety of impressive, nationally-recognized degree and workforce certificate options as well as other programming including Evening and Weekend College.

LSC-CyFair’s Associate of Arts in Teaching degree program and Medical Assistant degree program were named among the top 20 nationwide as reported in GradReports.com’s 2020 Best Colleges for Earning Potential list. Allied Health Programs are consistently producing top pass rates on state licensing exams and job placement rates such as Vocational Nursing, Certified Nurse Assistant, Medical Radiology Technology, and more.

In addition to a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Cybersecurity offered at LSC-Westway Park Technology Center, LSC-CyFair has multiple articulation agreements with various universities allowing students to easily transfer and earn bachelor’s degrees – Prairie View A&M University, University of Texas, Baylor University, Texas Tech University – and more recently opportunities with Stephen F. Austin State University benefiting Geographic Information Systems students and University of Houston benefiting Logistics students.
