Noon in June Will be the Time to Enjoy L.I.F.E. Lessons at LSC-CyFair

What’s new for summer L.I.F.E. at Lone Star College-CyFair? The free weekly WebEx workshops will be held noon starting with the June cat talk, doodling, music trivia, podcast and  identity theft presentations.

These free Learning, Inspiration, Friendship and Enrichment (L.I.F.E.) programs are available Wednesdays through virtual presentations and are accessible for one week.

June 2: Catification 101
Adopting a new cat or kitten is a wonderful way to expand your family, but integrating a new cat or kitten into your home can be tricky. Learn about resources, products, tips and tricks for introducing your new cat to your family and how to transform your home into your cat’s castle with Librarian Regina Vitolo.

June 9: Doodling and Creativity
Tend to doodle on the side of the page? This is good thing! Join Librarian Rachel Hugenberg to learn about new ways to doodle, what doodling does for creativity and mental health and more!

June 16: Music Trivia
Music professional, teacher, afficionado and barber shop bass, Gillian Mayer, joins us for some music fun facts and trivia.

June 23: Podcast Launch
TikTok historian and newscaster Melissa Ratliff joins us to talk about the launch of her upcoming podcast, “God’s Favorites", which focuses on historical figures.

June 30: Identity Theft
Dorrie Scott, Reference Librarian, discusses how to avoid identity theft and tricks and techniques for protecting your information!
