What is the BAT?
BAT- Cyber Security is a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in cyber security tailored to help students to enter the cyber security world and be able to help companies protect their information and mitigate cyber-attacks.
How do I apply?
Go to www.applytexas.org The application is currently open. You need to send your transcripts to firstname.lastname@example.org. You need to look for Lone Star under the two-year institutions list even though you are applying for the bachelor program.

What do I need to be accepted?
You need a 2.25 GPA and to have a relevant conferred AAS degree and an application.
How many classes do I take per term?
Classes are offered through 8-week terms where you take two classes per 8 weeks, so 4 classes per semester. 2 of these classes will be your junior and senior level classes and two will be your core classes to be able to graduate with 120 credits.
Is the program offered in online modality?
Yes, there is a hybrid option and an online option to choose from.
Can I apply for financial aid toward the bachelor's degrees?
Yes, Lone Star College bachelor's degrees are approved for financial aid.
Can I apply to VA benefits?
Yes, LSC bachelor's programs allow you to use your VA benefits.
