Tech Talks are back, and we’re kicking off the fall semester with a special ExploreIT Virtual Tech Talk Series!

Join the Office of Technology Services (OTS) for quick, practical online sessions designed to help Lone Star College students, faculty and staff get more from the technology and resources available to them.

Whether you want to get comfortable with the tools you’ll use this semester, discover new features or simply pick up a few tips to make technology work better for you, there’s a Tech Talk for you.

August 24 – 28 | Led by Lone Star College Subject Matter Experts
Start with the tools and resources you use right here at Lone Star College. Our knowledgeable LSC subject matter experts will show you how to navigate essential resources, find technology support and get more from Microsoft 365 Online.

Week 2 | Build Your Microsoft Skills

August 31 – September 
Then, take a deeper dive into some of the most widely used Microsoft Office applications. A professional Microsoft trainer will share practical techniques for getting more from Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Take charge of your academic journey with myLoneStar! Learn how to plan your path using academic planning resources and degree progress tracking, build your semester by mapping out the right courses and scheduling advising appointments, and register with confidence while avoiding common registration issues.

LSC Service Center: Learn How to Get Help, Submit & Track Requests

Learn how to use the LSC Service Center (ServiceNow) to get technology support. Explore how to submit requests and incidents, track ticket status, communicate with OTS, and find self-service resources that can help you get answers and resolve issues.
