Published on: November 05, 2007The certified public accountant (CPA) candidates and accounting club members at Montgomery College are proud to announce the club’s November guest speaker--Mike Kinney, president of the Houston chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. Kinney will present “The Path to Professional Certifications” on Friday, November 16, at 6:30 p.m. in Building B, Room 102. Kinney holds the following professional certifications: CPA, certified internal auditor (CIA), certified management accountant (CMA), and certified information systems auditor (CISA).
There will be pizza and other refreshments provided before and after the event. The public is invited to attend.
The Montgomery College accounting club meets monthly and provides its members with an industry speaker to promote knowledge of the accounting profession. The club members provide support to each other while seeking CPA certification and networking opportunities upon completion of the CPA program at the college.
