The LSC-Tomball Theatre Department will hold open auditions for its summer musical production of “Little Shop of Horrors” on Thursday, May 5 at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 7 at 10 a.m. in the Black Box Theater.
Auditions are open to students and community members. Those attending the audition should be prepared to read from the script as well as learn and perform a song and dance from the musical. The performance runs July 14-17.
“Little Shop of Horrors,” one of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time, is the story of a down-and out floral assistant who becomes an overnight sensation after he discovers an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B-singing exotic plant with an appetite for blood.
For more information on the open auditions, call (281) 357-3654 or e-mail Sherri.R.White@LoneStar.edu. LSC-Tomball is located at 30555 Tomball Parkway, at the intersection of State Highway 249 and Zion Road.
