Want to know today how to have financial success tomorrow? Sign up for a fall workshop-style class on financial management at Lone Star College-CyFair.
The Passport to Retirement – Your “How To” Guide for Financial Success course will be offered 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays Sept. 12 through Oct. 3 or Wednesdays Sept. 14 through Oct. 5.
Instructor David Lampe will address questions such as: Can I retire on schedule? How much money do I need to retire? How will I provide for my heirs? And which investments will work best for me?
Attendees will learn about common roadblocks in planning a comfortable retirement and how to overcome them. With effective financial strategies, attendees will be more confident in making informed decisions. Through this step-by-step retirement planning process, attendees will be able to form realistic goals and be ready to take action.
This course will explore how to define and create retirement; assess the costs; evaluate sources of income; invest for the future, protect health and wealth; receive funds from retirement plans and manage estate distribution.
“We are expecting this class to not only provide information, but empower students to create financial success,” said LSC-CyFair’s Director of Continuing Education Kenya White.
Included in the $63 tuition is not only the latest facts, figures, practical strategies to help prepare for retirement and a 145-page workbook about financial concepts and reference tools; but a one-on-one personal consultation to review needs and concerns in a private setting.
