“I absolutely love Lone Star College! Being a freshman was very nerve-wracking for me, but my counselor went through some sessions with me to help cope with stress, which was all free through the school. Lone Star College wants us to succeed and is willing to do anything to make that happen. My words can't express how GREAT this school is!”

“It has relatively small classes so it feels like an average school or even high school. So it makes it easy to adapt being in college. Also it’s a lot of fun.”

“Great school. Amazing teachers, I love showing up every day, it is an awesome experience. Great for 1st year students and even transfers. The teachers actually care and try to help you to the best of their abilities. They have all kinds of help, tutoring, math labs everything all to help you succeed.”

LSC was rated 4.0 (out of a possible 5.0) for overall quality for the second year in a row. LSC also rated 4.0 for reputation, 4.4 for location and 4.6 for happiness. Additional categories and LSC average ratings included: campus, 4.4; library, 4.2; opportunity, 3.9; and clubs, 3.7.

LSC students also took time to provide comments on professor Kennedy saying:

“She is an amazing professor!! My favorite professor of all time!! Super sweet and super helpful. Really cares about her students and willing to work with the student. You can really tell she loves her job and cares about her students. Definitely take her!!! Two thumbs-up!!”

“I can't even put into words how wonderful this teacher is. I took her 3 week mini class. During it, I got behind due to a death in the family. She worked with me the entire way! (I also did work hard to catch up though) She really wants the best for her students. :)”
