Free Shannon Cutts events March 29

Recording artist and motivational speaker Shannon Cuts will perform a free concert and multi-media event March 29 at Lone Star College–CyFair as part of Women’s Conference Month.

Lone Star College–CyFair is proud to host this recent Billboard World Song Contest first-place winner, who also has two award-winning CDs in nationwide release. Cutts’ performances will conclude the month-long schedule of events of the college’s annual Women’s Conference, which is held to celebrate, teach and empower women.

Founder of The Key To Life Foundation and a survivor of a 15-year battle with anorexia, bulimia, depression and anxiety disorder, Cutts is dedicated to improving the quality of care for individuals affected by eating and related disorders.

Cutts will begin at 10 a.m. with a powerful and provocative multi-media event titled “Beauty Undressed.” A survivor of anorexia nervosa, her program highlights the difficulties she experienced with the disease and how she overcame this devastating disease.

Following her presentation, there will be a 1 p.m. concert of original music written to highlight many issues women face today. Both events are open to the community and will be held in the Recital Hall, room 102 in the Center for the Arts building on the Barker Cypress campus.
