Sept. 21 Event at Montgomery College to Feature Industry Expert

Montgomery College accounting club members, along with the candidates for the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam, have set the date for an exciting and informative guest speaker to kick off its 2007-08 activities.

W. Carl Glaw, CPA, managing partner of GLO CPAs, located at the Galleria area, will present the topic "How to Maximize Your Profit Potential in the Job Market." The speaking event will take place on Friday, September 21, in building B, room 102, at 6:30 p.m. There will be refreshments provided before and after the event and the public is invited to attend.

The Montgomery College accounting club meets monthly and provides its members with an industry speaker to promote knowledge of the accounting profession. The club members provide support to each other while seeking CPA certification, and networking opportunities upon completion of the CPA program at the college.
