LSCS Mini Grant

LSC-UP and LSC-Tomball will not be competing for the same dollars.

As you know, each year, thanks to generous funding from the Lone Star College System and the Lone Star College Foundation, we award a select number of mini-grants to small, innovative project ideas that address the college system’s goals and initiatives. These mini-grant funds are meant to assist faculty and staff in the development and implementation of exemplary projects not normally funded through the regular budgetary process. The mini-grants are also an excellent opportunity to utilize the funds as seed money to test an idea prior to applying to an external funding agency.

Do you have what you feel to be a winning proposal idea but are short on funds? Please considerapplying!   Applications on each campus are submitted to a local committee chair.

This year, LSC-University Park has a total of $3,000 to award to a select handful of applicants requesting funding for projects ranging from $500 to $2500.

This year’s committee leaders are:

Darcy Mingoia, Campus Contact, darcy.mingoia@lonestar.edu, 832.813.6636

Alise Bailey, Secondary Campus Contact, alise.bailey@lonestar.edu, 832.813.6637
