Summer 2019 Faculty Institute

Faculty Institute Participants

Summer Faculty Institute 2019 sponsored by Title V was a great success. The Faculty Development Advisory Council, in collaboration with the Faculty and Staff Center hosted this event for faculty professional development. This four-day faculty development opportunity focuses on using instructional technology to build connections within a course, connections to content, to the real world, and to one another.

This summer's theme was on SoftChalk. The faculty who participated worked on building class content for their D2L courses using SoftChalk. SoftChalk is a powerful content authoring tool that makes it super-easy for educators to create interactive, engaging, lesson content for their online courses. Use SoftChalk Create to develop custom course materials that works in D2L and other LMS. No programming skills are required!
