Erin brings years of experience as an Academic Advisor at both Lamar University and Lone Star College-Montgomery. Her expertise areas include university transfer planning, academic advising, career advising, and transfer admissions planning.

Tara Devoley
TRAC Advisor
As a first-generation college student herself, Tara understands the importance of connecting students to resources that will help them throughout their college career. She thrives on developing relationships with her students and serves as their advocate.  Tara can assist students who are considering a potential transfer. She has the key information that will guide students to make the most appropriate decisions. Whether it be course selections at Lone Star College or options for majors, Tara is instrumental in making the transfer process more manageable for students. Tara also provides comprehensive academic planning, transfer admissions planning, and career advising to students in the Honors' College at LSC-Montgomery and leads our Transfer Fair and Transfer related events on campus.

Karen Jones
TRAC Advisor
Karen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Mathematics, Grades 4-8, from West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV. She then moved to Washington, DC where she earned her Mater of Science in Public Relations Management from the Kogod School of Business at American University.  Karen Jones has worked at Lone Star College-Montgomery for over 12 years in the Student Services department. Karen has worked as a Part-Time Advisor, the New Student Orientation Coordinator, and the Manger of Student Life. In her current role as a TRAC Advisor, Karen assists students in planning their degrees for transfer to 4-year institutions, registering for classes, understanding degree requirements, and ensuring they are set up with the necessary resources to be successful at Lone Star College (LSC). She also works with students who have earned 30 plus credit hours at Lone Star College. Karen is the TRAC Center contact for keeping our students and academic departments informed of the current community career opportunities

Angela Martin
Faculty Counselor
Having spent her career working in education and mental health, Angela enjoys helping students navigate the complexities of college through academic
support, wellness practices, career counseling, and transfer support. It is exciting to journey with students as they are exploring career options to determine the path they want to pursue.  Angela also enjoys helping students navigate all aspects of the university transfer process.  She wants to see students succeed in college and move into a career that they love! Assisting students with creating effective resumes and developing skills for successful interviewing is another area in which she serves students.

Marie Thibodeaux

Marie has over 20 years of experience in academic affairs and student services. She is passionate about connecting with students and empowering them by sharing resources needed to select a major and transfer university. She can assist students with academic advising, transfer degree planning, and navigating the transfer admission process to ensure a smooth transition. Marie leads the Career Closet that provides professional attire to students to help them look their best for job interviews or career fairs.
