Services Offered

The HCPL Children’s Library provides services for children and their families of the Creekside Park area and beyond. The library holds a specially curated collection of books ranging from board books to middle grade chapter books. The Children’s Library also provides a small space for families to play, learn, and color together. In addition to our physical collection, HCPL Librarians can provide reference services and limited library services including but not limited to:

• Creating and updating Harris County Public Library (HCPL) accounts
• Requesting items for all ages from HCPL and our partner libraries (Montgomery County, Lonestar College, Bellaire and Pasadena Public Libraries)
• Assistance with electronic books and resources
• Sign up or pick-up prizes for 1000 Books Before Kindergarten or the Summer Reading Program!
• Craft kits to take home or create in the library
• Free wireless internet access on-site
• (Storytimes will be offered starting early 2023, exact date will be announced)

Friday-Sunday: Closed
