Dominique Brown- Manager
Hello, I’m Dominique Brown and I am the Lone Star College- University Park Manager of Student Life. I am originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but I have been in Houston since 2013. My experience in higher education has been in connecting students to basic need resources and student engagement. I firmly believe that college life extends beyond the classroom, and students who get involved in student activities enhance their college experience and increase their chances of academic success.
Elora Molloy- Student Life Coordinator
Hi! I am Elora Molloy, Coordinator of Student Life at Lone Star College-University Park. I started my journey in 2015 as a dual credit student at LSC-CyFair and have earned two associate degrees since. I am currently working on a Bachelor of Business Management degree with the University of Houston-Downtown. Throughout my professional career, I have worked in both Student Services and Student Engagement. I am passionate about student success and promoting student involvement.
Kevin McDaniel- Student Activities Specialist IV (eSports)
Howdy! My name is Kevin McDaniel, and I'm the eSports Specialist for Lone Star College-University Park's Office of Student Life. I've been an avid gamer ever since dad brought home an NES and a PC builder with experience on everything from Sockets A and 423 to the latest technology. I earned both of my degrees at this campus (an Associate of Arts from LSC-UP in 2017 and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a Corporate Communication Concentration from the University of Houston-Downtown's Northwest Campus in 2020); I'm so hyped to be here and to share my passion for gaming with everyone!
Stephanie Mendoza- Graphic Designer
My name is Stephanie Mendoza, and I am the Graphic Designer for the Office of Student Life. I graduated from LSC-Cyfair in 2022 with an associate degree in Visual Communications. In the near future, I plan to attend UH to pursue a degree in marketing. I'm excited to gain experience at LSC-UP as a graphic designer and to be a part of all the exciting events the Office of Student Life holds!
Karina Limon- Student Life Staff Assistant
Hello, my name is Karina Limon, and I am a Part-Time Staff Assistant for the Office of Student Life. I enjoy anything creative or artistic. I want to pursue a career in the medical field, and after I finish my Associate of Science here at Lone Star, I plan to transfer for my BSN. I am splendid to be part of the Student Life Team and excited to see how I grow.
Bobbi Shorter- Student Life Staff Assistant
Hello, my name is Bobbi Shorter, I am a part time Student Life Specialist. I am originally from Maryland but as a military spouse, I have lived around the country and internationally. I moved to Tomball TX in 2017 after my husband retired from the United States Navy. I have worked in numerous customer service and administrative positions to include being the Curbside Specialist for HEB. I have a strong belief in providing the best experience for students in Student Life, promoting a healthy school and life balance. I am very thrilled to be here, and I look forward to serving the students, staff, and faculty at Lone Star College-UP.
