Howdy y’all! My name is Danielle Guerra, and I am the Student Activities Coordinator for LSC-UP’s Office of Student Life. I earned my B.S. in Political Science from UT Tyler in 2020 and completed my M.A. at the University of Southern Mississippi in 2024. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, cooking, and spending time outdoors. I am passionate about serving and uplifting the community around me, and I’m honored to support our students through this role.
Kevin McDaniel- Student Activities Specialist IV (eSports)
Howdy! My name is Kevin McDaniel, and I'm the eSports Specialist for Lone Star College-University Park's Office of Student Life. I've been an avid gamer ever since dad brought home an NES and a PC builder with experience on everything from Sockets A and 423 to the latest technology. I earned both of my degrees at this campus (an Associate of Arts from LSC-UP in 2017 and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a Corporate Communication Concentration from the University of Houston-Downtown's Northwest Campus in 2020); I'm so hyped to be here and to share my passion for gaming with everyone!

Hi! My name is Palmer, and I am the Part-time Coordinator at Student Life. I was born and raised in Tomball but went to school in Philadelphia and graduated from Bryn Mawr College with my bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies. I lived in a Co-operative House in my Junior and Senior years of college and am passionate about working together with others in the community! In my free time, I like to hang out with my cat, make crafts, and spend time in the sun :) I’m so happy to be part of the Student Life Team!

Hello, my name is Kayla Woods, I am a Part-Time Graphic Designer for the Office of Student Life. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2024 with BFA in Graphic Design. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and learning more about nature. I'm excited to gain experience at LSC-UP as a graphic designer and to help the students, staff, and faculty!

Hey everyone, my name is Daniel Villarruel, and I’m currently a work-study at student life here at Lone Star University-Park. On the side, I attend business classes here where I plan to get my associates degree and eventually move on to The University of Houston. In my free time I enjoy playing video games, reading comics, watching movies and tv shows, and spending time with family. Being a part of the student life staff has been fantastic, and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store.

Greetings, my fellow people. My name is JaNiya Harris and I’m currently work-study for Student Life at Lone Star College–University Park. I love writing — which is probably why I’m majoring in creative writing (shocking, I know). I’m happiest when I’m listening to music that makes me feel alive or reading poems that leave me thinking about them for days. I admire writers like Fyodor Dostoevsky. I like finding passion in things I never expected to care about. I’m optimistic, a little too excited about small things, and always chasing inspiration wherever it decides to hide.

Hi, my name An Rolando, and I'm a student-employee in Student Life! My academic focus is on sociology/anthropology and business administration. I'm passionate about connections, communication, and development inside and outside of the professional world. When at rest, you can find me hard at work in personal research projects, rearranging my furniture (again), discussing art + media, writing, drawing, or playing video games (competitive and strategy/simulator types are my favourites!). I feel right at home here in Student Life, and I'm super happy to be involved in student wellness.
