You can enroll in the Next Start session or add one more class to finish your degree faster! Courses begin throughout the semester and are offered through in-person, online, and hybrid formats at various times, including days, nights, and weekends, for students who need flexible schedules. Plus, you can register for a course right up to the first day of each class!

- A Minimester is a “miniature semester” of either 3- or 4-Week length taking place after the Fall and Spring Semesters, in December and May. When searching for classes, select the Spring Term for the December Minimester and the Summer Term for the May Minimester. Use the left-hand navigation to choose a 3- or 4-Week Mini Session to display only the Minimester courses.

Class Schedule & Registration
Review the classes offered at LSC-University Park to see which ones will work best for you. Classes may fill up quickly, so we recommend that you register as early as possible. Also check the class listing periodically to see if additional class sections are available. To register, visit LoneStar.edu/Registration.

LSC-University Park encourages students to participate in advising. Meet with an advisor to choose courses and make appropriate decisions concerning your academic goals.

Academic Course Load and Overload
A full-time course load is 12 to 18 credit hours. An overload is defined as attempting more than 18 credit hours in the fall or spring term. An overload during any term must be approved by the academic vice president or designee.

Payment Due Dates
Students are responsible for paying charges by the payment due date. Students not paying by the due date may be dropped from their classes. For students registering on or after classes begin, payment will be due upon registration.
