Leadership and Economic Development (LED)

Empowering Leaders. Advancing Communities.

Our Mission

The Office of Leadership and Economic Development (LED) supports individuals—from emerging students to established professionals—in developing the skills, confidence, and networks needed to empower meaningful change.

Through leadership programs, civic engagement, and workforce initiatives, we enable people and communities to achieve their full potential. This work supports Lone Star College’s mission to expand access, opportunity, and prosperity across the region.

Our Vision

We envision resilient communities advanced by leaders who embrace purpose, integrity, and collaboration. LED cultivates leaders who build connections, strengthen civic life, and foster sustainable opportunities for future generations.
