Mortimer Ennis, Interim Dean

Mortimer Ennis serves as the Interim Dean of Instruction for Arts, English, Communications, and Languages Divisions. Since joining LSC-Kingwood in 2017, he has taught English and served in several academic leadership roles. With more than two decades of experience in higher education, Ennis is passionate about supporting faculty, creating opportunities for student success, and building a collaborative academic community. 
He earned a Master of Arts in English Literature from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and bachelor's degrees in English and Political Science from St. Mary's University. He enjoys working with faculty and students to advance innovative teaching, meaningful learning experiences, and academic excellence.
