About Our Department

The Finance & Strategy Department at Lone Star College-Kingwood provides leadership, guidance, and administrative support to ensure responsible financial management and operational efficiency across the campus. Our mission is to promote accountability, streamline processes, and empower departments with the tools and resources needed to make data-informed decisions.

Our team works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and college leadership to maintain financial integrity, manage budgets, and support strategic planning that aligns with the college's goals.

Campus Trainings & Meetings

We host monthly Budget Manager meetings and periodic Travel & Expense training sessions to support department leaders in managing their budgets effectively.

Quote Approval for Contract

Room Reservations

Please email KC-RoomReservations@lonestar.edu to request information or to reserve a room/space.  Please provide pertinent details for the event, including date, time frame, expected head count, a description of the event and any additional services that will be needed. 

A reply email will be sent with any follow up questions.  Then total pricing for the event will be given, and if agreed upon, a Facility Use Agreement would be sent for review and signature.  All external requests will require a Facility Use Agreement along with a Certificate of Liability with a minimum of $1,000,000 in general liability.
