The Physics Department at Lone Star College-University Park offers courses that explore the structure of physical laws. Along the way you will learn to “think like a physicist” and develop powerful observation and problem-solving skills. Courses include General Physics I & II, Elementary Physics, Mechanics & Heat, Electricity, Magnetism & Light, Stars & Galaxies, and Solar Systems.

Experienced, highly qualified faculty provide physics instruction in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats.

Physics Coaching/Tutoring 

Peer coaches offer feedback and support to help you with coursework but will not complete assignments for you. Working in groups and asking questions as they arise can be especially helpful. Physics support is usually available at the times and locations below. If you're not already on campus, it may be best to call ahead to confirm.
