The Physics Department at Lone Star College-University Park offers courses that explore the structure of physical laws. Along the way you will learn to “think like a physicist” and develop powerful observation and problem-solving skills. Courses include General Physics I & II, Elementary Physics, Mechanics & Heat, Electricity, Magnetism & Light, Stars & Galaxies, and Solar Systems.
Experienced, highly qualified faculty provide physics instruction in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats.
