Our program is designed to meet and exceed the state requirements. This certificate prepares students to perform various clinical and administrative functions in a facility which may include preparing treatment rooms for patient examinations, scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, administering injections, and utilizing equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests. If you are looking for an exciting career in healthcare, this program may just be the "foot in the door" you are looking for.
Clinical Medical Assistants are vital members of the team and work to administer medications, assist with minor procedures, obtain laboratory specimens, perform electrocardiograms, provide patient education, and much more.
Health Occupations Programs have a registration checklist to help students with the program registration process.
