CHANCELLOR'S PROCEDURES FOR THE EMPLOYEE DEPENDENT TUITION WAIVER

These are proposed Procedures to the Lone Star College System District Policy Manual Section IV.D.1.1. This Section was recently updated to establish the Employee Dependent Tuition Waiver, which provides that the System may waive part of tuition and required fees for dependents of current System employees. These Proposed procedures provide eligibility criteria and an application process for the Employee Dependent Tuition Waiver.

CHANCELLOR'S PROCEDURES FOR PARTICIPATORY GOVERNANCE FACULTY COUNCIL

These are proposed Procedures to the Lone Star College System District Policy Manual Section I.C.1.05. These Procedures are intended to formalize the Lone Star College faculty governance structure and implement Texas law governing faculty councils at institutions of higher education. The Faculty Policy Advisory Council drafted these Procedures to expand transparency of faculty participation in institutional governance, formalize faculty representation, standardize operational procedures, and promote more robust engagement between faculty and administration at both the System and campus levels.
