Welcome to LSC-Tomball’s Music department where we offer a two-year program for aspiring artists dedicated to advanced training. Students may choose a primary instrument or voice and take classes covering performance skills, movement, ensemble work, theory, composition, and secondary specialties.
Our Goals
- Empower young artists with the skills and experience necessary to succeed in the arts field/
- Cross Training among fine arts disciplines is essential to a well-rounded education and marketability in the workplace.
- Constructive Critique provides real feedback as “a Gateway to the Profession.”

| Faculty Musical Moment | Wednesday, February 11, 2 pm, Commons | The music faculty shares some of their favorite works according to specialty. Join us for coffee and donuts and a relaxing moment or two in the Commons! |
| TAPPS State Solo and Ensemble Competition | Monday, February 16, 7 am - 5 pm, Performing Arts Center, Beckendorf, East Hall | Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools will host State Solo and Ensemble at Lone Star College Tomball |
| Evening of Songs and Scenes | Tuesday, February 24, 7 pm, Black Box Theatre | This event is open to all and is a scholarship fundraiser for the Music Department. Student musicians will present works that feature the language, culture, and drama of Italy. |

Tony-award winning musical "Anything Goes" is a classic Cole Porter comedy set aboard the S.S. American, a 1920's transatlantic liner sailing from New York to England. Love triangles, mistaken identities and farcical situations combine with hit tunes like “You're the Top,” “I Get a Kick Out of You,” and fun dance numbers in an unforgettable homage to big Broadway sound and the Jazz Age. |
