LSC-Tomball Music Department
Lone Star College-Tomball offers a two-year program for aspiring artists dedicated to advanced training. Students may choose a primary instrument/voice and take classes about performance skills, movement, ensemble work, theory, piano and secondary specialties, and composition.
Our Goals
Empowerment: To empower young artists with the skills and experience necessary to succeed in the arts field
Cross Training: Fundamental to our mission is the belief that cross-training among fine arts disciplines is essential to a well-rounded education and marketability in the workplace.
Constructive Critique: To provide "real" feedback as “a Gateway to the Profession”
Focus on your wellbeing: Cultivate centered artists who know their instruments, the fundamentals of the craft, and understand the importance of their well-being.
