The Associate Vice Chancellor of Academic Initiatives & Partnerships has been designated as LSC’s Transfer Liaison and serves as a dedicated resource to support student transfer.  The Transfer Liaison is the primary point of contact for transfer students, institutions, and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for information and questions regarding the transfer process. (Texas Administrative Code  §4.40 (a) – (c))

The Transfer Liaison ensures that students receive clear information on:
       - Transferable and non-accepted credit 
       - Dispute resolution processes and requirements
       - Degree audits to determine whether the student has completed: the core curriculum, Field of study
         curricula (Texas Direct associate degrees), or any other degree or certificate offered by Lone Star
         College. 

Students transferring to LSC should submit official transcripts from each institution previously attended.  Transcripts will be evaluated for transfer into the associate's degrees and certificates, and the bachelor’s degrees, based on the minimum requirements to be accepted as a transfer student.
