Prerequisite Coursework

- Completion of an Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Completion of all Core Curriculum Requirements
- PSYC 2314 Lifespan Growth and Development
- BIOL 2420 Microbiology for Non-Science Majors or BIOL 2421 Microbiology for Science Majors
Additional Program Admission Policies
- Completed Lone Star College Application for Admission/Readmission, transcripts, forms, in satisfaction of the general institutional admission requirements.
- Completed Lone Star College Supplemental Application for Admission to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program.
- Current, unencumbered Texas RN license or Enhanced Compact License to practice in Texas.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.25 or higher from the degree evaluated for admission.
- Admission is competitive based on such factors as GPA, completion of lower division coursework, and work history. Not all students who meet the minimum requirements stated above may be admitted into the program.
